Elsa Kawai is an award-winning, cross-media visual designer whose talents are markedly visible in graphic design, fashion jewelry design, and photography. Elsa also creates and markets her own product lines which include brand names such as Oddzballz and EK Jewelry.

Born in Malaysia, Elsa Kawai grew up in a humble, middle class family with her parents, brother and cousin. Elsa rarely had any childhood toys and her grandma once told her that the best & most satisfying toys reside within one’s own imagination. These words inspired Elsa to delve into her artistic capabilities as a little girl. Elsa would attempt to draw everything in sight and would frequently create little games and toys to pass time.

In 2002, her reputation and career successes captured the attention of fans and fellow artists across the world and eventually brought her to the United States, where she now lives and works as a visual designer with a leading global and media company. Elsa’s portfolio runs the gamut from fashion, everyday life, abstract, the natural to architectural perspectives and more avant-garde macro photography
that emphasizes texture and contrast.

Elsa Kawai is committed to providing the utmost quality in product and experience, and sustains the highest integrity in every tasks she uptakes. Elsa is passionate in creating visual art that tells a story. She draws her inspiration from the people around her, and tries to capture those moments or emotions that can provide a special touch to even the most mundane or seemingly normal activity.
